Good revenue and safe production begins with strong attendance and retention in the labor force. Transportation is key to ensuring attendance and retention – and It’s also the biggest barrier for folks in entry-level positions. We provide transportation or commute assistance to most worksites daily, so our clients arrive on time, every day. And we are able to accommodate many shifts. First Step uses a series of local transportation options to assist our workforce. Our partners include Enterprise Commute, Uber, and Public Transit. We provide 100,000 annually.
Safety is paramount.
Our workforce is 100% drug screened. During our daily on-site recruitment orientations, we start with a 5-panel cheek swab drug assessment. This gives us immediate and accurate results to help assess each applicant. First Step Staffing requires 2 forms of valid, government-issued ID’s. While we are a second chance company and we intentionally support returning citizens, our customers inform the background screening appropriate for your unique organizational needs. Alternate requirements for drug screening and background checks can also be accommodated on a customer-by-customer basis.
